Now, the difference between an automatic front opening knife and this spring assisted out the front is that once you have started the opening of the blade, an internal spring finishes the opening process. The handle of the Shrade OTF spring assisted knife features grey or black, textured Zytel plates, providing, not only a secure, comfortable grip, but also minimal reflected light and glare. The 3" drop point blade has been coated with black titanium nitride, making this a great covert/black-ops tool.
