This meticulously detailed sword is crafted with a tempered, hand forged 27 5/8" folded Damascus high carbon steel blade. Damascus steel adds intrinsic beauty and strength to this sword to further add to its visual and martial appeal. This item features a genuine leather wrapped handle, genuine ray skin covered grip, and solid brass helix ornaments. Measuring 42" overall, this sword includes a wood shoulder scabbard and wood display stand. This Damascus Edition is strictly limited to only 1,000 pieces worldwide and each is individually laser serialized on the blade and includes individual serialization on a display stand plate to ensure authenticity. Each sword includes a certificate of authenticity and ships inside a black cloth sword pouch with embroidered logo. United Cutlery UC2582 Rurousha Forged Katana Damascus The United Black collection yields another fully functional and high quality sword to the series with the Rurousha (Japanese for nomad) katana. The Rurousha exemplifies the katana design as a tool of war and work of art. It measures 41 1/4 overall and presents a hand forged 29 7/8 blade of 1060 Damascus steel with a heavy double blood groove pattern. The blade tang has an exclusive stamp that can only be found on a United Black sword blade. The hardwood handle features a wide leather wrap to create a traditional look and feel. The cast metal guard offers a simplistic design that coordinates with the pommel. The hardwood sheath is adorned with leather wrap similar to that of the handle. This item is placed in a traditional cloth sword bag with a collectible hanging medallion and packaged in a custom box. 41 1/4" overall. 29 7/8" blade.
