| Axis Communications 0290-004 P3301 Network Camera | ||
![]() Retail price: Your price: $691.78 |
Axis Communications 0290-004 P3301 Network Camera The AXIS P3301 Fixed Dome Network Camera is an indoor, tamper-resistant, video surveillance unit ideal for discrete monitoring in offices, shops, schools, banks, and even prisons. The camera offers a multiple H.264 stream capability and provides HDTV quality images. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE (Power over Ethernet); hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. The unit can be easily installed for recessed mounting in drop ceilings. The P3301 has a 1/4-inch progressive scan RGB VGA CMOS image sensor. The DC-iris Lens (2.8 - 10 mm, F1.3) of the camera is vari-focal, and has a horizontal viewing angle of 23 - 72°. The camera displays images by 'writing' one entire line on the screen at a time progressively, hence offers images without any blurring in moving objects. The camera displays images by 'writing' one entire line on the screen at a time progressively, hence offers images without any blurring in moving objects. The camera offers a 160x120 to 640x480 resolution and delivers a frame rate of 30 fps (frames per second) in all resolutions. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source. The white balance feature adjusts the red, green, and blue colors taking a standard white reference to get clear images. The 1/4-inch CMOS sensor enables the camera to function in light conditions as low as 1 Lux at F1.3. The P3301 image settings that can be customized are compression, color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, exposure control, exposure zones, backlight compensation, fine tuning of behavior at low light, rotation, text and image overlay, and the privacy mask. The unit offers an image rotation facility of 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270° and a mirroring of images function. The camera can pan 360°, tilt 170°, and rotate 340° and has a shutter time of 1/20000 to 1/4 seconds. The P3301 Network Camera's intelligent motion detection feature compares the current frame with a pre-determined standard frame to accurately trigger an alarm if motion is detected. The pre-/post-alarm images can either be sent to an FTP or HTTP server for uploading or to a specified email address. The pre-/post-alarm images are stored in a 40 MB video buffer. The camera has a built-in microphone, external microphone input or line input, and a line level output with two-way audio streaming. The audio compressions supported include AAC LC 8 kHz 32 kbit/s, 16 kHz 64 kbit/s, and G.711 PCM 8 kHz 64 kbit/s, and G.726 ADPCM 8 kHz 32 or 24 kbit/s. When capturing, storing, or transmitting images, the P3301 supports multi-stream and one stream H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC) and Motion JPEG compression standards, enabling less bandwidth and storage utilization. Both the frame rate and bandwidth are controllable. The camera supports IPv4/v6, HTTP, HTTPS, QoS Layer 3 DiffServ, FTP, SMTP, Bonjour, UPnP, SNMPv1/v2c/v3(MIB-II), DNS, DynDNS, NTP, RTSP, RTP, TCP, UDP, IGMP, RTCP, ICMP, DHCP, ARP, and SOCKS transmission protocols. IP filtering restricts access to one or more user groups. User groups can be created with an IP address range being defined for each group. Password usage restricts access to unauthorized persons. HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) encryption scrambles the image data for added security. The P3301 uses a system where the network server authenticates a user request through a domain controller and then grants access to authorized users only. The network camera maintains a log of all the users that were granted access to the camera image data on the network. Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 1 allows the camera to receive power from the network itself without any extra wiring. The P3301 Fixed Dome Network Camera offers an open API for software integration, including the ONVIF specification and the VAPIX and AXIS Camera Application Platform from Axis Communications. Axis Communications 0290-004 P3301 Network Camera Features: Image Sensor Lens Progressive Scan Resolution and Frame Rate Backlight Compensation White Balance Low Light Functionality Image Settings Rotation and Mirror Images PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom), Presets, and Shutter Time Intelligent Motion Detection Alarm Events and Video Buffer Input/Output Audio Compression Compression Standard Image Transmission Protocols IP Filtering Password Protection HTTPS Encryption Digest Authentication User Access Log& #149; PoE (Power over Ethernet) System Integration API (Application Program Interface) |

| Axis Communications 0230-004 Video Server, 241QA Video Server | ||
![]() Retail price: Your price: $996.75 |
Axis Communications 0230-004 Video Server, 241QA Video Server The Axis Communications AXIS 241QA Video Server effectively bridges the gap between analog and digital technology. The server accepts four analog fixed or dome cameras and turns them into virtual network cameras complete with full remote Internet viewing and recording, PTZ control and alarm I/O ports. This server includes its own enclosure and unlike a Blade, is designed for complete standalone operation. Connection to the network is via a single Ethernet cable, making it quick and easy to setup and operate without the need for a local PC. These and other features make this server a very useful tool for long established security facilities looking to take full advantage of the latest in network technology without having to replace their existing high resolution and expensive analog equipment. By connecting an optional microphone and speaker to this unit's audio I/O ports, a PC user will be able to hear and speak with a person at the camera location over the network. This is an extremely useful feature in factories, retail stores, transportation facilities and numerous other applications requiring the ability to communicate verbally over a network. Video Servers are available in four different configurations, each designed to suit a particular application. This AXIS 241QA Video Server has the distinction of being able to capture video simultaneously in both the MJPEG and MPEG-4 formats at a resolution of 704 x 480 and at speeds up to 30 FPS. This gives a user the necessary control over how data is transmitted over a network and also provides a user with the image clarity and smooth picture movement required to better identify people and objects. A number of standard serial ports allow the direct connection of PTZ dome cameras. Once connected, dome cameras are treated like any other network camera, with a user able to control basic pan, tilt, and zoom functions as well as any additional complex operations like preset positions, tours and groups. To further enhance security performance, this server features a number of alarm I/O ports. These I/O ports will accept a number of external sensors to trigger alarm events such as when a door or window is being forcefully opened, and to activate devices following an alarm event like turning a light on or locking down a row of doors. Built into the server is a motion detection function fully configurable for area and sensitivity. Motion detection not only alerts an operator to suspicious movement, but when used to trigger recording to a DVR, saves valuable time and network resources. To keep users apprised of all important events, this server can be set to send alerts to a designated Email address over the network. Axis Communications 0230-004 Video Server, 241QA Video Server Feature: • 2-Way Audio • Simultaneous M-JPEG/MPEG-4 (30 FPS) • PTZ Control • Alarm I/O Ports • Built-In Motion Detection |
