Axis Communications 0290-004 P3301 Network Camera The AXIS P3301 Fixed Dome Network Camera is an indoor, tamper-resistant, video surveillance unit ideal for discrete monitoring in offices, shops, schools, banks, and even prisons. The camera offers a multiple H.264 stream capability and provides HDTV quality images. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE (Power over Ethernet); hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. The unit can be easily installed for recessed mounting in drop ceilings. The P3301 has a 1/4-inch progressive scan RGB VGA CMOS image sensor. The DC-iris Lens (2.8 - 10 mm, F1.3) of the camera is vari-focal, and has a horizontal viewing angle of 23 - 72°. The camera displays images by 'writing' one entire line on the screen at a time progressively, hence offers images without any blurring in moving objects. The camera displays images by 'writing' one entire line on the screen at a time progressively, hence offers images without any blurring in moving objects. The camera offers a 160x120 to 640x480 resolution and delivers a frame rate of 30 fps (frames per second) in all resolutions. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source. The white balance feature adjusts the red, green, and blue colors taking a standard white reference to get clear images. The 1/4-inch CMOS sensor enables the camera to function in light conditions as low as 1 Lux at F1.3. The P3301 image settings that can be customized are compression, color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, exposure control, exposure zones, backlight compensation, fine tuning of behavior at low light, rotation, text and image overlay, and the privacy mask. The unit offers an image rotation facility of 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270° and a mirroring of images function. The camera can pan 360°, tilt 170°, and rotate 340° and has a shutter time of 1/20000 to 1/4 seconds. The P3301 Network Camera's intelligent motion detection feature compares the current frame with a pre-determined standard frame to accurately trigger an alarm if motion is detected. The pre-/post-alarm images can either be sent to an FTP or HTTP server for uploading or to a specified email address. The pre-/post-alarm images are stored in a 40 MB video buffer. The camera has a built-in microphone, external microphone input or line input, and a line level output with two-way audio streaming. The audio compressions supported include AAC LC 8 kHz 32 kbit/s, 16 kHz 64 kbit/s, and G.711 PCM 8 kHz 64 kbit/s, and G.726 ADPCM 8 kHz 32 or 24 kbit/s. When capturing, storing, or transmitting images, the P3301 supports multi-stream and one stream H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC) and Motion JPEG compression standards, enabling less bandwidth and storage utilization. Both the frame rate and bandwidth are controllable. The camera supports IPv4/v6, HTTP, HTTPS, QoS Layer 3 DiffServ, FTP, SMTP, Bonjour, UPnP, SNMPv1/v2c/v3(MIB-II), DNS, DynDNS, NTP, RTSP, RTP, TCP, UDP, IGMP, RTCP, ICMP, DHCP, ARP, and SOCKS transmission protocols. IP filtering restricts access to one or more user groups. User groups can be created with an IP address range being defined for each group. Password usage restricts access to unauthorized persons. HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) encryption scrambles the image data for added security. The P3301 uses a system where the network server authenticates a user request through a domain controller and then grants access to authorized users only. The network camera maintains a log of all the users that were granted access to the camera image data on the network. Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 1 allows the camera to receive power from the network itself without any extra wiring. The P3301 Fixed Dome Network Camera offers an open API for software integration, including the ONVIF specification and the VAPIX and AXIS Camera Application Platform from Axis Communications. | Axis Communications 0288-004 Q7401 1 Channel Video Encoder | ||
![]() Retail price: Your price: $703.25 |
Axis Communications 0288-004 Q7401 1 Channel Video Encoder The Axis Communications AXIS Q7401 can be used to interface a single analog CCTV camera to a network. Video is captured in the H.264 format, a codec that offers high compression rates while maintaining excellent image quality, thus reducing storage and network requirements. MJPEG is also supported for increased flexibility. Up to 3 video streams, each configurable for frame rates and resolution, can be sent simultaneously over the network. Images can also be adjusted for contrast, brightness, saturation, and other parameters before the conversion takes place. If the analog camera is of the PTZ type, it can be accessed over the network for pan, tilt, and zoom control as well as to operate its presets and tour guard functions via a Windows compatible joystick. To enhance security and for better data management, this encoder incorporates video motion detection, active tampering alarm, and audio detection functions, all of which can be viewed and configured over the network. Each of these detection functions can be used to trigger an action following an alarm alert such as email notification, file uploads, or local storage to the encoder's SD card slot. There are also a number of alarm I/O ports to facilitate connection to external input and output devices. Axis Communications 0288-004 Q7401 1 Channel Video Encoder Features: • Intelligent capabilities such as enhanced video motion detection, active tampering alarm and audio detection • External inputs and outputs that can be connected to devices such as sensors and relays, enabling the system to react to alarms and activate lights or open/close doors • Image setting adjustment to improve images before encoding takes place • Two-way audio support • SD/SDHC memory card slot for local storage • Open Application Programming Interface (API) for software integration, including VAPIX from Axis Communications. |

Axis Communications 0268-004 216FD - V The Axis Communications AXIS 216FD-V consists of a high performance network camera contained inside an enclosure that is both rugged and compact. This makes it an excellent choice for discreet security monitoring in potentially unstable environments such as construction sites, prisons, shipping and transportation facilities. By using an optional speaker together with this camera's built-in microphone, a PC user can hear and speak with a person at the camera location over the network. This is a very useful feature in numerous applications including retail stores, factories and transportation facilities. In addition to operating on standard DC voltage, this camera, when used in conjunction with an optional power over ethernet (POE) feeder, can be powered solely by its Ethernet cable. POE makes it possible to install the camera in areas with no direct access to an AC outlet such as certain hallway and ceiling installations or when the camera is placed inside an outdoor housing. When used together with a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply), POE also has the ability to keep the camera running during a power outage. Video is captured simultaneously in both the JPEG and MPEG-4 compression formats. This will allow a user, for example, to view live images over a WAN in the fast MPEG-4 format and at the same time record high resolution JPEG images to a local LAN server. At the event of an alarm triggered by its internal motion detector, this camera can be set to start capturing images or transfer footage to a server over the network. To ensure that users remain apprised of all conditions, the camera will also send out an alarm alert along with associated images to multiple Email addresses over the network. Images preceding and following an alarm condition are captured along with event footage, giving a user the full sense of an occurrence. Axis Communications 0268-004 216FD - V Features: • Built-In Microphone for 2-Way Voice Communication • Power over Ethernet (POE) • Simultaneous JPEG/MPEG-4 Streaming • Built-in Motion Detection with Pre and Post Alarm Image Capture |

Axis Communications 5008-001 POE Active Splitter 5V The Axis Communications 5008-001 is a PoE splitter specifically designed for use with an AXIS 206 or AXIS 207 network camera. A PoE splitter does the exact opposite of a PoE injector. Instead of combining power and data, it splits the power and data coming over the network into two separate transmissions. By using a PoE injector at the source end and a PoE splitter at the receiving end, a single Ethernet cable can be used to supply both power and data to network cameras that are not PoE compatible. This greatly simplifies the installation process, allowing non PoE cameras to be placed in areas inaccessible to an AC outlet. When used together with a UPS, PoE will also keep the camera operating in the event of a localized power failure. A PoE splitter takes the combined data and power signal transmitted from a PoE injector at the source end and splits it into two separate power and data cables at the camera end. This allows non PoE equipped cameras to take full advantage that PoE technology has to offer. By having a single Ethernet cable deliver both data and power over the network, camera installation is no longer limited to areas in close proximity to an AC outlet. This will make it easy to install the camera in hallways, near ceilings, inside outdoor housings, on rooftops and numerous other environments. When used together with a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply), a PoE splitter will guarantee that the camera remains operational in the event of a power failure occurring at the camera end. Needless to say this is a most important feature for critical security applications which cannot afford any camera down time.
