The Three-Point Stationary Wall Mount system incorporates a direct-goal- attachment that transfers the load of heavy play through the backboard to the structure. The entire backstop is unitized with 1/4" x 1" tension straps. 4/0 upper safety chains with heavy malleable turnbuckles provide additional support. Telescopic design allows for complete adjustability and ease of installation. Structural wood mounting pads included. Mounting hardware for the backboard is not included. Board and goal are not included. Constructed of 1/2" Novaply wood backing with your choice of either 1-3/8" Crosslink Polyethylene foam, 2" 100 ILD High Density Polyurethane or combine both for a 2-1/2" dual density pad. Wall pads are covered in 18 oz. vinyl and have a 1" lip at the top and bottom for attachment to the wall. Corner round molding or aluminum channel (not included) may be used to cover bolt heads after installation. Unmatched construction, strength and quality. The Titan Playground goal was originally designed for the New York park and recreation district. The district needed a rim that would last on some of the toughest playgrounds in the country. A static load of 1,000 lbs. was applied to the outermost point of the ring without any permanent deformation. Deflection under this pressure was measured at 1 1/4". Two steel rings (3/4" and 1/2") are welded together and reinforced with 3/16" wing plates and a 5/8" x 15" brace. Back plate measuring 8" x 7" features hole spacing to fit most boards; upper holes are reinforced with a seven gauge, 1 1/2" plate. Complete with GGN nylon net. Includes mounting hardware.
